The SFC Regulatory Forum 2018 was held on 14 March 2018 (Wed) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Since 2014, the SFC has organised this event on a biennial basis to promote dialogue with the industry and other stakeholders. This year, more than 900 leaders from the financial industry, listed companies, professional services firms and industry associations attended the full-day event where senior regulators and leading industry participants shared insights on a range of topics:
- The current state of securities regulation
- The SFC's strategies to address emerging challenges
- The development of Hong Kong as an international asset management and risk management centre
- The role of regulation in changing corporate behaviour
- Intermediary supervision and enforcement in securities regulation
